Similar to the majority of American manufacturers, Guild maintains a line of folk instruments within it`s ranks. In Guild`s case, it is called Traditional series and it contains acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars oriented towards country and bluegrass performers. D-40 Bluegrass Jubilee is a dreadnought shaped guitar with non-cutaway design. It`s back and sides are made of mahogany, while the top panel is made of spruce. This is one of the most frequent combinations along with rosewood and spruce. Natural binding, tortoise shell pickguard and gloss finish decorate the top. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports belly shape. Neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and it is topped with rosewood fingerboard. It features:20 frets, dot inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" bone nut. Gotoh tuners wrap the specs.
