Natural High Gloss
AEW series is one of the most technologically advanced series of affordable acoustic guitars in Ibanez catalog. Some of the standard features include: compact bodies with Florentine cutaways, modern Fishman/Ibanez electronics, 25-1/2" scales and quality Ibanez hardware.
AEW40AS comes in with a flat-top body made entirely of figured ash and a mahogany neck. Simple wooden rosette and wooden binding are the only decorations featured on the body, apart from the beautiful ash grain. Mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (1.65" nut, 9.84" radius). AEW40AS comes with a standard AEW electronics unit (Fishman Sonicore pickup, Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp, XLR & regular 1/4" outputs). Modern rosewood bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
