The new AEWC300 is one of only three models Ibanez introduced into the AEW series lineup for 2018 (at least the lineup which will be available in the United States). The new 300 follows a similar pattern as the more expensive (and also brand new) AEWC400, rocking exotic tonewoods, contoured back, amplification-friendly thin body, combined Fishman/Ibanez electronics, and supremely elegant styling. The color palette`s made up of Natural High Gloss and natural Browned Burst High Gloss options. Core construction features include a single-cut AEWC body (flame maple back/sides, solid Spruce top), a mahogany neck (AEWC asymmetric comfort profile, 14th fret dovetail joint), a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.69" nut, 24.96" scale, 15.75" radius), a rosewood bridge, Sonicore pickup (w/AEQ-SP2 preamp), and die-cast tuners.
