PC models belong to the popular and already well established PF series. Steel-stringers marked with PC badge rock the classic grand concert body contour, as opposed to the PF models with dreadnought bodies. For 2014, PF line is getting six updates, two acoustic-electric and four fully acoustic. PC15 is one of four fully acoustic models introduced at this year`s NAMM. It comes with series standard set of specs and features. Body of this one is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on the top. Ivory binding, black pickguard and triple circle rosette decorate the body. On the top, there is the series standard rosewood bridge with classic belly contour, compensated saddle and Ibanez Advantage string pins. There are no piezo pickups installed under the saddle, nor this model features any kind of preamp. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s attached to the body with a regular 14th fret dovetail joint. Back contour is the standard PF series contour. On the top of the neck, Ibanez installs a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Die-cast tuners on the headstock complete the specs.
