0045SC John Meyer is a brand new model for 2012, and it was unveiled at the NAMM Show this January. This parlor is placed within the Limited Editions Series, and it comes with a non-cutaway body made of solid cocobolo backs and sides and solid Adirondack spruce top. Standard X scalloped bracing, which is taken from the golden age models is made also of solid Adirondack spruce. The top is flat and bound with grained ivoroid. Also, on the top, there is a tear drop shaped Delmar pickguard and blue paua pearl sound hole rosette. This model is available in natural color with gloss finish. The bridge is made of black richlite with pyramid shape and dropped-in saddle. Also, string pins and saddle are made of bone. As for electronics, the basic variant has none, but optionally, it can be installed. This models sports a solid mahogany neck with modified V contour and dovetail joint. The fingerboard is made of solid ebony and sports 19 frets with style 45 snow flakes made of paua blue pearl and 1-7/8" wide bone nut. Other features include: solid Adirondack spruce bracing, Waverly tuners and chrome plated hardware. The MSRP for 0045SC John Meyer is set at $13,999.
