D-28CW is a model situate within the Special Editions series in Martin catalog. It comes with a dreadnought shaped body with a non-cutaway construction. Back and sides on this model are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. The top panel on D-28 CW is bound in ivoroid binding and equipped with a teardrop-shaped plastic pickguard. Also, the sound hole features a double circle rosette. As majority of Martin models, this one also comes in natural color with gloss finish. Belly shaped bridge is made of ebony and equipped with a bone saddle. Neck is made of hardwood and it comes with a V contour. Fingerboard on D-28 CW is made of ebony and comes with following specs: 20 frets, no inlays, 16" radius and 1-11/16" wide bone nut.
