The X series is a line of affordable Martins with laminated woods and set-in neck joints. DCX1RE is one of the premier models of the series and it starts off with a dreadnought shaped cutaway body made of laminated spruce top and laminated rosewood back and sides. It is available in natural gloss finish. The neck on this model is made of rust stratabond with Martin`s oval contour and mortise and tenon joint at the 14th fret. The black richlite fingerboard has 20 frets, 1.6875" wide corian nut and 16" radius. The bridge on DCX1RE is also made of black richlite. It is also equipped with Fishman Presys system with digital tuner. Other features include: 25-1/2" scale, chrome plated hardware and small button tuners. The list price is set at $999.
