DX1RAE Left Handed belongs to the X series of affordable acoustics made by Martin Guitars. This series includes a wide range of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. All shapes and sizes are represented in this series. Pretty much every shape and variant Martin produces in upscale department has it`s affordable match in this series. DX1RAE is a non-cutaway dreadnought guitar with body made of high pressure laminated wood. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels, while the top is made of spruce. Bracing beneath the sound board is also made of spruce. Tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette decorate the top. There is no binding around the top. Stratabond neck is equipped with oval contour and mortise & tenon joint. Bridge and fingerboard on this model are made of black richlite.
