Australian Series represents the pinnacle of Maton Guitars catalog. It is made primarily of Australian wood and it`s Maton`s pride and joy model. After more than 50 years of guitar making, Maton has mastered the use of Australian tone woods. Though a little bit different than American stadnard selection, Australian tone woods also a tremendous tone. Somewhat different, but still as awesome. Australian Series is a dreadnought made in non-cutaway variant. Blackwood back and sides are matched with selected Sitka spruce top. Bridge section is equipped with a belly-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Electronics are optional on this model. Though, if installed, they feature AP5 pickup.
