EBG808 is an acoustic-electric model made oby Australian Maton Guitars. This model comes with orchestra model-shaped body with non-cutaway construction. It`s body is made of blackwood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panel is equipped with black binding and black plastic pickguard. Sound hole rosette is made of three concentric circles and it gives quite a vintage feel to this Aussie beauty. Orchestra is one of the smaller standard body shapes and this one comes with natural color scheme finished in satin. Bridge is regular belly-contoured one made of rosewood. Electronics department includes AP5 pickup, Maton`s favorite method of amplifying acoustic guitars. Neck is made of Queensland maple and is sort of a standard neck option for Maton models. 21-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood. Chrome plated tuners are Grover.
