M425/12 is one of several twelve-stringers in current production at Maton Guitars. This model, as well as the vast majority of Maton models is made primarily of Australian tone woods. It comes with a full-sized dreadnought body with non-cutaway construction. Also, construction-wise M425-12 is equipped with a dovetail joint and optional electronics. Body of this model is made of Queensland walnut back and sides with selected spruce soundboard on top. This combo gives fantastic tonal properties, plus fantastic tone strength and volume produced by dreadougnt shape. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a regular belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. Optionally, AP5 pickup can be ordered and then this model turns acoustic-electric. Queensland maple neck is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
