CW80 is one of Maton Guitars` premier twelve string models and it is based upon the six-stringed CW80 dreadnought. Second set of strings is added for increased power and versatility of tone. this dread features non-cutaway design and it`s made of Queensland maple back and sides with solid Sitka spruce sound board on top. Top panel features ivoroid binding in combination with black and white inner binding. Also, tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette made of herringbone are installed. Bridge section is equipped with a belly-shaped rosewood bridge with black saddle and white string pins. Electronics are optional and feature AP5 pickup. Neck on this model is made of Queensland maple, which is attached to the body with a dovetail joint. 21-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood to match the bridge.
