Stage series is made up of two models, the EBG808Cl and EBG808CLG. The main difference between these two is the type of finish applied on them. 808CLG has glossy finish, while the 808CL has satin finish applied. Both models have inherited the body shape of the original 808 model, which is still in production, with the difference being, these two have slightly shallower bodies. 808CL is made of Queensland maple back and sides and bunya sound board. It features ivoroid binding, black pickguard and single circle rosette around the sound hole. Electronics are standard - AP5 pickup with a preamp. Bridge section is equipped with a belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of Queensland maple and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with standard 21 dotted frets.
