EBG808CLG, together with EBG808CL forms the Performer series in Maton Guitars catalog. These models have inherited the body shape from one of the most popular models from this brand, the original 808. The biggest difference between these two newcomers is the type of finish applied on them, EBG808CLG has gloss and EBG808CL has satin finish. Other than that, their specs lists are pretty much the same. EBG808CLG comes with Queensland maple back and sides and bunya sound board. Top is bound in ivory and features abalone rosette. Bridge is made of rosewood, while the electronics department features AP5 pickup with preamp. Neck is made of Queensland maple and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. It has a standard set of 21 frets with dot position inlays. Golden hardware wraps the specs list.
