CC48-PD is a model that belongs to the Celebrity series of acoustic-electric guitars made by Ovation. Ovation has been credited for some of the most significant advancements and improvements in the field of acoustic guitars over past fifty years. Celebrity line is an effort to sum up the essentials of the Ovation`s progress into a series of affordable, yet quality instruments. CC48-PD is one such model, it comes with a single cut body made of shallow composite bowl in the back and padauk sound board on the top. Bridge is made of walnut, which is standard Ovation feature. OP-4BT preamp and Slimline pickup are installed in electronics area. Maple neck is set-in and equipped with V contour. 23-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood. Hardware is plated in gold on this one.
