Double neck concept is not the youngest one, but is very challenging even today. Popularity this concept gained with Jimmy Page`s double neck Gibson paved the way for today`s models. Ovation fairs pretty well in this category and CSE225-8TY is the living proof of that. Upper neck on this model is equipped with 12 strings and the lower one has only six. Due to the concept requirements, body is significantly wider, but it still retains the recognizable Ovation contour. Composite bowl is in the back and it`s topped with figured maple top. Blue Transparent with gloss finish is the only color option available for this model. Both bridges are made of walnut and all tuners plated in gold. Set maple necks have V contours and 23-fret fingerboards are made of rosewood.
