Limited Edition Adamas 2080ES Deep Contour is one of four models introduced at NAMM 2013. All four are limited editions and come in extremely small quantities. The special feature of this model is it`s composite top panel. It`s made of woven carbon graphite and it features beautiful walnut binding around the edges. It is backed up by the standard composite bowl with Lyrachord GS contour. It helps achieve the signature Ovation tone. Only one color option is available for 2080ES, it is the natural color of the carbon fibers. Finish is done in gloss. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a standard-shaped bridge made of walnut. Walnut, is the main tone wood used on this cool six-stringer. Bridge features rear loading construction. Electronics department is a standard one, as it is equipped with OCP-1 pickup and OP-PRO preamp. Both components are made by Ovation. Neck is made of walnut and it`s topped with a walnut fingerboard. Fingerboard is resin-impregnated and sports 22 frets with dot inlays. Ovation tuners on the headstock are installed in classic three-a-side pattern and decorated with gold plating. Standard 25-1/4" scale wraps the specs list.
