PD-65 belongs to the Dreadnought series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars in Peerless Guitars catalog. It kicks off with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of solid mahogany back and sides with a solid spruce top. |The top is bound in black and white binding with herringbone. Also, it features a tortoise shell pickguard and an elegant sound hole rosette. The bridge on PD-65 is made of rosewood and it sports a classic belly shape. In the electronics area, Peerless opted for the Fishman Classic 4T preamp with a side-mounted control panel. Volume, bass, treble, middle and brilliance sliders are accompanied by a tuner. Mahogany neck features a C contour and rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, acrylic dot position inlays and bone string nut complete the fingerboard.
