Folk-shaped guitars are an important part of the Maritime series and this particular folk comes as a fully acoustic and non-cutaway made guitar. Maritime series is made by Seagull Guitars, which is Godin`s subsidiary brand dedicated solely to acoustic guitars. Folk Hihg Gloss QI features all-solid construction, meaning that both the mahogany on the sides and back and spruce on the top are solid. This body is paired with a one-piece mahogany neck with slim contour in the back. This neck is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint and it`s topped with a 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Fingerboard also features dot inlays, 16" radius and 1.80" wide TUSQ nut. Hardware on this model is plated in chrome.
