Seagull is a brand of acoustic guitars governed by the Godin Guitars. It`s focus is set on the north American and European markets, while the rest of the world is of a lot lesser concern to this Canadian brand. The Original series is the pride and joy of Seagull. It is a line of six-stringed acoustics and acoustic-electrics made primarily of domestic, Canadian tonewoods. The Original S6 comes as a fully acoustic dreadnought with non-cutaway construction and a pretty conservative design. Laminated wild cherry back and sides are combined with a solid cedar top. Rosewood bridge, black plastic pickguard, multi-ply binding and a simple rosette are featured on the top. One-piece mahogany neck is attached through a 14th dovetail joint and is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
