Takamine`s Limited Edition series currently has eight models among which CP400NYK is the only New Yorker (parlor) model. The entire lineup sports solid tonewoods, premium Takamine electronics, and super elegant styling. CP400NYK starts off with a non-cutaway parlor body, 12th fret neck joint, Cool Tube preamp, and modern/vintage styling. Tone-wise, this little steel-stringer brings a lot of possibilities, for both the strummers and players who use their fingers. It can be used for blues, country, rock, roots, bluegrass, and many other genres and styles. Natural Satin (w/white binding, gold-plated hardware, wooden rosette) is the only available color option. Specs list highlights include koa back & sides (solid back), solid cedar top, comfortable mahogany neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, fixed bridge (w/split saddle), and the famous combination of Palathetic pickup and CTP3 preamp under the hood.
