G11 series is a part of the G10, the lowest standard tier of Takamine`s G range. Its models are made entirely of mahogany (except bridges and fingerboards) and equipped with stock electronics (if they`re acoustic electric) and hardware. GY11ME is a parlor-sized guitar, a "New Yorker", with a non-cutaway body, 14th fret neck joint, laminated construction, and simple styling. The price is set around the $350 mark, which makes this compact six-stringer one of the most affordable all-mahogany options on the market. Natural Satin is the name of the only available color option. The specs list highlights include back, sides and top made of laminated mahogany, a solid mahogany neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.675" nut), rosewood bridge, and TP-4T preamp (w/piezo pickup).
