Takamine`s G11 series offers all-mahogany variants of the standard G10 models. Thus far, only three models, one acoustic-electric and two fully acoustic, were introduced. Like their G10 brethren, 11s sport laminated tonewoods and stock hardware & electronics. GD11MCE is the only amplified "11". It is a single-cut dreadnought, with 14th fret dovetail joint, six steel strings, modern/vintage styling, and standard electronics. Retail prices are around $350, on par with the budget-oriented dreadnoughts from other major brands. This full-sized 11 is available only in Natural Satin (w/chrome hardware, triple circle rosette, dot inlays). Specs list highlights include a laminated body (back, sides and top are made of laminated mahogany), solid mahogany neck, 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood, belly-shaped bridge, and TP-4T preamp.
