Classics & Hirade Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Takamine
EC132SC is one of several models based upon the C132 platform from the Classics & Hirade series made by Japanese Takamine Guitars. This platform is the basic classical Takamine makes and it`s also an excellent platform to develop and build upon. This particular model, the EC132SC is single-cut and acoustic-electric nylon-stringer. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with cedar sound board on top. This is common to all C132 models and th SC variant is no exception. It`s top is bound in black binding and decorated with a classical rosette. Natural is the only color option and it`s finished in high gloss. Bridge section is a standard one with regular-shaped bridge made of rosewood. 19-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood. Tuning machines are plated in gold.

I have had my EC132SC since 1984. It’s my most beloved guitar that seems like a part of me. I was surprised to see it’s worth today. I made a good choice! I will never sell this guitar though and it’s priceless to me.
