TH5C is a model from the Classics & Hirade series in Takamine`s catalog. This series is a part of Pro Series section of the catalog which offers upscale Takamine guitars. This classical guitar comes with standard shape and single cutaway construction. Back and sides are made of rosewood, while the top is made of cedar, the most popular top option for nylon-stringed guitars. TH5Cis only available in natural color with high gloss finish. There is no pickguard on the specs list for TH5C as it is a standard for classical guitars to feature barren soundboards. Standard shaped bridge is made of rosewood and the electronics feature Cool Tube preamp. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it comes with 19 frets with no position inlays.
