EG355SC-TB is a brand new dreadnought model from Takamine`s G series. It`s built to accommodate everyone from an amateur to pro with it`s set of quality features packed into a budget-friendly guitar. EG355SC-TB starts off as a cutaway dreadnought model with a body made of quilted maple sides and back and solid spruce top. While back features no binding, top is bound in abalone which perfectly matches 355`s trans black color. The top also features a black plastic pickguard and beautiful abalone rosette around the sound hole. The bridge is made of rosewood and is equipped with a belly shape, black string pins and white, plastic saddle. In the amplification department there is an under-saddle piezo pickup with a TP4T preamp. The preamp is controlled through a side-mounted control panel which has bass, mid and treble sliders, gain knob and a chromatic tuner with LED display. It also contains easy-to-access battery compartment. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 20 frets, abalone dot position inlays and 1.75" wide string nut. Gold plated hardware and tuning machines finish the specs. The MSRP for EG355SC-TB is set at $859.
