G50 is an intermediate option in the famous Takamine G range. The main task of this series and it`s models is to provide the best possible option for the players who are looking for the so called "second guitar". Second guitar is usually a lower intermediate class instrument bought after the first guityar (usually a beginner class instrument) has been overgrown by the player. Also, it can be the backup, or practice guitar for the more experienced string slingers. G51 is the basic dreadnought of the series. It comes with a non-cutaway body made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on the top. Simple white binding, discreet sound hole rosette and the classic black pickguard decorate the top of this affordable dread. Rosewood bridge on the top is fit with the standard belly contour and split synthetic bone saddle. There are no electronics on this model, whatsoever. Neck is made of mahogany (the only major wooden part made of this material) and it represents the cross-catalog standard feature. Series standard contour in the back and a rosewood fingerboard on the top are featured on this neck. 20 frets, 1-11/16" wide synthetic bone nut and dot inlays complete the fingerboard.
