The main role of the G50 series on the US and other markets is the one of the "second guitar". Second guitar is defined in two different ways, it can be the second guitar young player buys to replace the beginner, or kid-sized guitar, or it could be a back up and practice guitar for an experienced player. These models from the "second guitar" class correspond with the lower intermediate class and offer the same kind of build quality, playability and tone quality. GD51CELH is the basic G50 acoustic-electric guitar. It comes with a single-cut dreadnought body made of series standard materials, rosewood in the back and on the sides and spruce for the sound board. Top board is decorated with a simple rosette, vintage pickguard and subtle binding around the edges. Rosewood bridge is a cross-catalog standard feature with it`s belly contour and synthetic bone saddle. Takamine installs the famous TP-4TD preamp onto the side of this work horse dreadnought. Preamp gives the player a whole new world of possibilities and ways to shape the sound. Standard issue mahogany neck is installed onto this one and it features the regular 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
