G70 is the second most luxurious among the G series. It offers stage-ready acoustic-electric models with six and twelve strings. Only dreadnoughts and jumbos are currently available and GJ72CE-12 is a twelve-stringed jumbo with a single-cut body and Takamine electronics.
GJ72CE-12 offers a full-sized jumbo body with single cutaway, flat top and deep construction. Flame maple back and sides and solid spruce sound board give a bright, snappy tone with a pretty balanced mix of bass, mid and treble. Neck is also made of maple and it features the standard slim profile in the back. It is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with a "reversed mountain" inlay at the 12th fret.
Takamine`s TP-40D preamp installed on the shoulder comes with a three-band EQ and chromatic tuner. Fixed rosewood bridge with a split saddle and twelve gold-plated tuners complete the specs list.
