G30 series models come with solid tops, Takamine`s proprietary electronics and classic design. This also goes for the affordable GN30CE.
Single-cut body of this acoustic-electric six-shooter is made of laminated mahogany (back and sides) and solid spruce (sound board) and paired with a slim mahogany neck (neck is attached at the 14th fret). On top of the neck, Takamine installs a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. With laminated mahogany, solid spruce, players can count on a big, warm tone leaned more towards strumming than fingerpicking (cedar tops are used for guitars intended for fingerpicking). Natural and Black color options are available.
GN30CE rocks a standard piezo pickup under the saddle and a TP-4TD preamp with a 3-band EQ and chromatic tuner provide an excellent amplified experience far above the G30 series price class.
