LTD 2017 Magome was inspired by Magome, one of sixty-nine stations along the ancient Nakasendo route (which lead from Tokyo to Kyoto). The road stretched for over 300 miles and served as the main line between the eastern and western capitals. LTD 2017 Magome starts off with an OM-sized single-cut body, glued-in neck, 20-fret fingerboard, Takamine electronics, and gold-plated hardware. Price tags for the Magome axe hover around the $3,000 mark. Black w/Magome inlays is the only available color option. "Legend of the Road" inlay, which stretches over the entire fingerboard, is the central visual feature. Key construction features include solid rosewood back, rosewood sides, solid spruce top, mahogany neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and Takamine electronics (Palathetic pickup/Cool Tube preamp).
