114 is a model from the 100 series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made by Taylor. 100 series, along with 200 represents the Taylor`s entry level part of the acoustic-electric catalog with it`s budget-friendly pricing policy and bare bones approach. 114 is a grand auditorium-shaped guitar with non-cutaway design. Also, there are no electronics installed on this six-stringer. As for hardware, tuners are chrome plated and made by Taylor. Body of this grand auditorium steel-string guitar is made of sapele back and sides with spruce-made sound board on top. Bridge section is equipped with a regular shaped bridge made of ebony. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. Standard set of 20 frets, dot inlays, 15" radius and 1-11/16" wide TUSQ nut is featured.
