For example, the 114e model is a part of the 100 series, it features grand auditorium body and Taylor Expression electronics installed within it. Some of the additional marks are "c" which denotes the cutaway design and LTD, which signifies it is a limited edition model. 114e is available only in natural color with varnish finish. Tuning machines are die-cast Taylors. Body is made of sapele back and side panels and spruce sound board. Bridge on this model is made of ebony and it features a regular Taylor shape. Mahogany-made neck is equipped with dovetail joint and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
