Taylor`s opening series is 100, and it offers full-sized budget friendly guitars in both acoustic and acoustic-electric variants. 114ce is an acoustic-electric grand auditorium model with single cutaway design. Back and sides of this model are made of sapele, while the top is made of spruce. Top panel features high gloss finish, black binding, tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette around the sound hole. The bridge comes with a standard Taylor shape and it`s made of ebony. Taylor Expression system is featured in electronics department on this model. Neck is made of sapele and it features a dovetail joint set at the standard 14th fret. It is topped with ebony fingerboard, which is equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays, 15" radius and 1.6875" wide TUSQ nut.
