200 series in the regular Taylor Guitars catalog is one of the entry level series, made for beginners and players who intend to buy their first Taylor. Also, the players keen on buying a practice and rehearsal substitute for their upscale Taylor are aimed by this series. However, 200 series has been chosen for the fall 2013 Limited Edition catalog and is given performance ready features and quality. It consists of two models, the 210ce-FLTD and 214ce-FLTD. 210ce-FLTD is a single-cut dreadnought model with laminated body construction, full-length scale and chrome-plated hardware. Body of this model is made of laminated rosewood back and sides with sitka spruce sound board on top. It`d bound in ivoroid binding and decorated with a standard triple-circle rosette. Also, a tortoise shell pickguard is there. Bridge on this model is made of ebony and it`s matched with an ebony fingerboard. Updated Taylor Expression System is installed inside the body. Neck on 210ce-FLTD is made of tropical mahogany and it is topped with a standard 20-frt fingerboard. The MSRP for this super useful dreadnought is set at reasonable (reasonable, considering the Taylor catalog) $1,598.
