For the 2013 Fall Limiteds Edition, Taylor has revisited the icon of intermediate level acoustics, the one and only 400 series. This is the biggest series in the Limiteds catalog, featuring three models. Two are regular six-stringers, while the third one is a twelve-stringer. 414ce-FLTD is a six-stringed grand auditorium guitar with six-string construction, 25-1/2" scale, single-cut body design and new and improved Expression system. Hardware is plated in chrome and fits perfectly with the glossy natural color scheme of the body and neck. Exclusively for the 2013 Fall Limited Edition, 400 series model, including the 414ce-FLTD, are made of Indian rosewood backs and sides with western red cedar sound boards on top. This combo is perfect for all of the fingerpickers out there. White binding, tortoise shell pickguard and the elegant sound hole rosette decorate the gloss-finished body. Ebony bridge is installed on the top and beneath it, under the sound board, Taylor installs the new Expression system. Neck is made of tropical mahogany and is topped with a regular 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Small dot inlays and 1-3/4" TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard. The MSRP for this model is set at $2,658.
