214 is a fully acoustic guitar from the 200 series made by Taylor. This series offers both the acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. This is the very basic grand auditorium model of the series and all others are based upon it. It features a non-cutaway body design and dovetail neck joint construction. It is available in natural color with gloss and satin finish used on certain parts of the instrument. hardware installed is plated in chrome and it includes die-cast Taylor tuning machines. Back and side panels are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. Bridge section is equipped with a standard shaped bridge made of ebony. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a standard fingerboard made of ebony. 20 frets, dot inlays, 15" radius and 1-11/16" TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard.
