214g is a model from Taylor`s 200 series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. It comes with a non-cutaway grand auditorium shaped body made of rosewood back and sides with a spruce top. The top is bound in rich ivoroid binding and equipped with a tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole features a triple circle rosette. Bridge on 214g is made of ebony and it comes with a standard Taylor shape. The electronics compartment is left vacant, for Taylor intended this model to be played exclusively unplugged. Therefore, there are no pickups or preamps installed. The neck is made of mahogany and it is equipped with a dovetail joint positioned at the standard 14th fret. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with a set of 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.6875" TUSQ string nut.
