300 series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars in Taylor catalog is placed right above the 100 and 200 series and it offers slightly more than these two. Although above the entry level, it is still far from the luxurious and exclusive 800 and 900 series. 310ce is an acoustic-electric dreadnought with single cutaway design and Taylor`s electronics installed in the body cavity. It is available in natural color with gloss finish. Standard die-cast Taylor tuners are plated in chrome. Body of this model is made of sapele back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Ebony bridge is featured throughout this series, as well. Mahogany is Taylor`s preferred neck wood and it is also found on this model. It is topped with a standard 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
