Taylor`s main acoustic series, the ones with numerical designations ranging from 100 to 900, are mainly focused on steel-stringed guitar with only a small batch of nylon-stringed options. Nevertheless, these nylon-stringers are all made with the same level of quality of both the tone and build, being absolutely equal to their steel-stringed counterparts. 412ce-N is one of only two 400 series` nylon-string models. It is available only in Natural (w/gloss finish, white binding, chrome hardware) and costs $2,299 (some $200 more than the series` standard price). The specs list highlights include solid ovangkol back & sides, solid Sitka spruce soundboard, a mahogany neck (w/12th fret joint), a 17-fret ebony fingerboard, an ebony bridge (classical contour), ES2 electronics system, and classical tuning pegs.
