The way it`s worked out is as follows: first, like every other standard acoustic, the twelve-stringer has the number of the series it belongs (which is usually 1-9), then the 50-something model designation which depends on the body shape (50 are dreads, 52 grand concerts, 54 grand auditoriums, 56 grand symphony and 58 grand orchestra). 456ce is, thus, an acoustic-electric, twelve-stringed grand symphony model from 400 series. Also, it sports a Venetian cutaway. The MSRP is set at $2,299. Other important features include solid ovangkol back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony, ebony bridge, magnificent ES2 pickup/preamp combo, and Taylor tuners.
