510e is one of the basic models of the luxurious 500 series of acoustic-electric guitars made by Taylor Guitars. The 500 series is, despite its luxury and splendor, an intermediate series of its native range (Taylor`s main acoustic-electric range 900 series starts around $5,000). 510e is a non-cutaway dreadnought made with all-solid tonewoods, Taylor electronics, Taylor hardware, and 500 series` recognizable styling. It starts at $2,499 and is primarily offered in Natural (optional color options exist, but are charged extra). Main features include a flat-top body (tropical mahogany back & sides, solid Lutz spruce top, tortoise binding), a tropical mahogany neck (Taylor profile, 14th fret dovetail joint, satin finish), a 20-fret ebony fingerboard (Century inlays, 1.75" Tusq string nut, 24.875" scale), an Ebony bridge, ES2 electronics,a nd Taylor tuners.
