500 Series Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Taylor
Taylor`s main acoustic-electric range (series 100-900) are based on the steel-stringed models made with 14th fret neck joints (mostly, these are standard dovetail joints). Some of the models, though, are made with the 12th-fret neck joints, a more traditional, vintage-style feature popular before the World War II. Some of the series have one or two models, with some series having no 12-fret models. 522ce 12-Fret is one of only two currently active 500 series` 12-fret models. main features include a single-cut GC body (tropical mahogany back/sides/top, tortoise binding, gloss finish), a mahogany neck (Taylor contour, satin finish), an 18-fret ebony fingerboard (1.75" Tusq nut, 24.875" scale, Century inlays), an ebony bridge, ES2 electronics, and Taylor tuners.
