516ce is a grand symphony model from the 500 series of acoustic-electric guitars made by Taylor Guitars. This model is equipped with single cutaway design and Taylor`s Expression electronics system under the hood. Body of this guitar is made of mahogany back and side panels, which are combined with a spruce-made sound board on the top. Top panel is equipped with Indian rosewood binding and tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole sports a triple circle rosette. In the bridge section Taylor installs a standard ebony bridge with plastic saddle. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, dot markers, 15" radius and 1.75" TUSQ nut make up the fingerboard list of features. Chrome-plated Taylor tuners and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs list.
