516ce-LTD is a model from the Koa 500 Series released within the Fall 2010 Limited Edition. As all models labeled 16, this model features a grand symphony shaped body. The "ce" addition to the number stands for cutaway and electric, which means this grand symphony guitar has a single cutaway and Taylor Expression system built in. Variant of the Taylor Expression is the one for steel stringed guitars. The only color option available for this model is the natural and it comes with high gloss finish. Body is made of koa back and sides and spruce top. Bridge is made of ebony and it is matched with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a dovetail joint.
