516ce-LTD is a model from the 500 Blackwood Series introduced within the Spring 2010 Limited Edition. It comes with a standard grand symphony body with single cutaway design and dovetail neck joint construction. It is available only in natural color with high gloss finish and gold-plated hardware. Binding around the body is done in ivoroid and the tuners are Taylor. Electronics system built into the body cavity is also made by Taylor. Body is made of blackwood back and sides with spruce top. Bridge section is equipped with a standard shaped bridge made of ebony. Neck on this model is a also standard feature as it is made of mahogany and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.75" wide TUSQ string nut complete the fingerboard.
