Dreadnougts, grand concert, grand auditorium, jumbo, grand symphony and grand orchestra comprise the standard lineup. New 520 is a fully acoustic dreadnought made entirely of mahogany. It is situated within the intermediate 500 series and is one of five all-mahogany acoustics introduced for summer 2013. Back, sides and top are all made of solid mahogany, which guarantees magnificent tone and strength. Top of the body, as well as the fingerboard and headstock, is bound with ivoroid binding. Ebony is used for both the belly-shaped bridge and fingerboard. Beneath the top, Taylor installs forward shifted bracing. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard. 14 of 20 frets are clear. Chrome-plated Taylor tuners are installed on the headstock.
