Taylor`s main acoustic-electric range is made up of nine series, ranging from the affordable, lower intermediate class and all the way up to boutique level. 100 series is the most affordable one, with models starting at around $700 and 900 is the most exclusive one, starting at around $5,000. 800 series, though significantly cheaper than 900 (starts at around $3,500) is advertised as the range`s flagship series on Taylor`s website. 812ce-N is currently the only nylon-stringed option available through 800 series. It starts at $3,599 and offers an all-solid GC body (Venetian cutaway, Indian rosewood back/sides, Sitka spruce top), a mahogany neck (Taylor profile, satin finish), an ebony fingerboard (1.875" nut, 25.5" scale), an ebony bridge, ES2 electronics, and Taylor tuners.
