814ce-LTD is a model from the 800 series introduced with Fall 2010 Limited Edition line. Limited Edition roster is completely renewed every spring and autumn and models are available only during the season they are introduced in. 814ce-LTD is a grand auditorium model with single cutaway design and Taylor Expression system electronics. Natural color is finished in high gloss and matched with gold plated Taylor tuners and abalone decorations. Body is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top panel. Top is also decorated with a tortoise shell pickguard. Bridge section features a standard bridge made of ebony. neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Custom position inlays, 15" radius and 1.75" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard.
