800 Series (Fall 2010) Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Taylor
Taylor Guitars have an interesting tradition which is going on for years now, every spring and autumn they release a brand new Limited Edition lineup. Models from the series introduced are only available during that particular season. Often the models from the regular section of the catalog serve as a basis for these limiteds. So was the case when in autumn of 2010 Taylor released Fall 2010 Limited Edition. Main series was 800 inspired by already existing acoustic-electric 800. 816ce-LTD in this series is a regular grand symphony model with single Florentine cutaway and dovetail neck joint construction. It is made in natural color with high gloss finish. Gold plated Taylor tuners, tortoise shell pickguard and abalone bindings complement the color scheme perfectly. Body on this model is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top. Ebony bridge is matched with a 20-fret fingerboard, also made of ebony. Taylor Expression system is featured in the electronics area. Neck is made of mahogany.
